About: The Website This webpage is home to my many differing creations. I tend to find myself always seeking new ways of expressing my creative urges, and this results in a large range of media being used, on this website you will find, Paintings, Drawings, Multimedia, Computer imaging, 3D animation, Computer software, Photography, Music, and Writing, all created by me. I make an effort to update this site regularly, so that there is always something new for frequent visitors to see. If you have any suggestions for this webpage then please do leave comments in the guestbook :-p About: My Art Hi my name is Rox Flame (that is actually my real name). I'm 22 years old and I've been doing art for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories include drawing on big rolls of newsprint on the kitchen floor with my brother. I continued to draw all through my childhood and went through many phases including: skeletons, Sonic the Hedgehog, mazes, magician crocodiles (when I loved learning magic tricks), aliens & monsters. Throughout school I learned more about painting and in 7th Form I finally managed to get a good eye for abstract composition and started get a lot more out of abstract work. I then started to use abstract painting as a way of venting emotion and making visually pleasing textural work. As I got more confident with abstract work, I started to combine it with perceivable imagery and started to use it as a way of expressing ideas (of which I have millions...), emotions, and concepts. My artword tends to be high in contrast and very vivid. I also like to combine very structured elements with very expressive elements. My drawing is no exception to this, and I often find myself doing some areas of a drawing very detailed and the rest, very loose and expressive. In 2006 I completed a 3D animation diploma. I plan to work in the 3D animation industry for a while and get a good financial base. Then I want to get all set up with a housebus and deck it out with art and music stuff and travel around the world making music and art. About: Me I'm an intelligent guy who highly enjoys creating things of many kinds. I like to play guitar and make strange music on my computer. I'm a very adaptable person, and this helps me when going from project to project, and when exploring new ideas. I have an unquenchable curiocity, which i feed with information from libraries and the internet, also from conversations online. I have no fears when creating my art, and this gives me a good way of getting things out of my head and sharing them with the world. Despite my quiet nature, I very much enjoy fun, parties, adventure and chaos. I like nature, the beach, sunrise and set, stars, growing plants, fire and ice. I also love dancing.
